In spite of stress, I had a mood for one hour of dry firing.
My dry firing training session looks as follows:
- One minute hold.
- One minute pause.
Short pause and twenty shots.
At fifty meter shooting range we have such situation, that afternoon sun shines directly on the targets (and today was sunny afternoon). It’s absolutely nonsensical to try to search for a sharp front sight in this case. I was unable to see sharp front sight. Silhouette only. I could use grey filter, but I shoot with both eyes and I don’t use shooting glasses since year 2008. I don’t have a panic in such cases. Instead – muscle control and pull, pull, pull... At the end I got a pretty nice group with only one error. The error in the aiming. The pistol was relative calm, good work of the finger,... but wrong aiming area. I was too left. Six on nine. I knew exactly where my shot was without a spotting scope.
(by analogy with RTFM)
